Best Beginnings for Wyoming babies is a community based initiative to assure that all pregnant women receive all services appropriate for a healthy pregnancy outcome.  Services to be coordinated will be based on a needs assessment and includes, but is not limited to:  Medical Prenatal Care, Prenatal Classes, Parenting classes, WIC, Medicaid, other financial assistance, Home Visiting, Family Planning Education, Nutritional Counseling, Postpartum Visit, Establish Medical Home for Newborn, Well Child Care and Immunization.

 

COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES OFFERS:
 
1.  Referrals and resource assistance
 
2.  Financial guidance - Medicaid, supplemental medical funds (WIC guidelines are followed.)
 
3.  Pregnancy Counseling and Teaching as well as educational materials
 
4.  Home visits for mothers, new babies and high risk pregnancy
 
5.  Parenting/Nurturing Classes
 
6.  Prenatal Classes
