Dental Health Services
The State Health Department offers the following dental programs:
Marginal Dental Program provides financial assistance for 85% of routine dental care costs; client is responsible for the remaining 15%. Maximum amount covered is $1,000 per calendar year. Client may reapply in three years if needed.
* Must be 0-18 years of age
* Excludes those covered by Title 19, Equality Care or Kid Care Chip
* Must meet financial guidelines
Orthodontia Program is available for persons 12-18 years of age when funds are available. this program does not pay for orthodontia for cosmetic reasons. Maximum amount covered is $3,130.
* Must have severe, crippling malocclusion
Senior Dental Program - This program is for persons 65 and older when funds are available. It pays 85% of total cost with client responsible for remaining 15%. Maximum amount of funding is $800 per calendar year.
Fluoride Testing - Testing for fluoride level in your water is available by contacting the Department of Agriculture's Analytical Lab in Laramie at 742-2984.
